Appia - Latino

The Appia Antica Park

Appia Antica

The Appia antica is a very quiet and exclusive area that has many secluded and grand villas. The area lies within the 'Appia Antica Park', a regional nature and catacombs park, and for this reason you will find the atmosphere quite 'rural'.
It is only 15 minutes away by car from City Centrum but it still feels like being in the country side. There are numerous horse riding clubs, tennis clubs, golfing, swimming pools and country clubs around. There are also many typical, romantic restaurants popular for wedding banquets here.
The F.A.O., many Embassies  and the St. Stevens high school are only about  10 minutes drive away. A car is necessary to have when living here.
Apartments are rare and average price for unfurnished villas are from about 3500 € to 6000 € .

Appia - Quarto Miglio - Statuario - Capannelle

quartomiglio.gif

Very quiet and green area south of Rome between the Castelli Romani and Centrum. Only 20 minutes drive from the City Centrum.

The first villas and apartments here were built around the beginning of the 1900's. Most buildings were built during the '70's and '80's.

The area houses nice small apartment buildings as well as semi and detached houses.

The average apartments are made of 3 or 4 rooms. They almost always come with outdoor spaces be it simple balconies, terraces or gardens.

There are many swimming-pools, tennis clubs, golf and baseball  clubs as well as big open air and indoor markets and family owned shops in the neighbourhood. Having a car it's advisable.

The properties are of middle to high standard.

An average unfurnished apartment of 2 Bedrooms + Livingroom + Kitchen and WC could cost from 800 € to 1800.
